Crypto-asset risks
- Volatility. The value of crypto-assets can change rapidly. Amounts quoted in crypto are valid only until the payment window expires.
- Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Funds sent to a wrong address or on a wrong network may be permanently lost.
- Network risk. Congestion, forks or outages can delay confirmations. A payment is counted only after the provider confirms it.
- Stablecoin risk. Stablecoins may lose their peg or be frozen by their issuer.
Counterparty and custody risk
- Funds are processed and held by third-party providers, not by a bank. VEXORA balances are not bank deposits and are not insured.
- VEXORA is not a non-custodial wallet; it does not give you control of private keys.
- Provider outages, account restrictions or insolvency could delay or prevent access to funds.
Card risks
- Card acceptance by merchants and mobile wallets is not guaranteed and may vary by country and merchant category.
- Card programs may change fees, limits or availability, or be discontinued.
- Per-purchase bank fees may be deducted from card balances.
Regulatory risk
Laws and provider policies regarding crypto-assets and cards differ by country and may change. Services may be restricted or withdrawn in your jurisdiction, including on the basis of nationality or residence.
